1. Why don't I see my images or external link once I've published my listing with VotersManual?
Images and external links are subject to VotersManual approval. Every image and external link will be reviewed by the VotersManual team to ensure that the content is relevant to your listing and meets the standard FCC guidelines. Likewise, we want to perform due diligence for the voting public who uses VotersManual.com and we do our best to make sure that external links posted don't send the voting public to a harmful or distasteful site.


2. Why can't I change my election year once I've published?
Election year indicates the election you are running for and your information is published accordingly. You cannot change your election year once you've published information with VotersManual. If you have decided to run for another election, please start a new election campaign for the year you are running.


3. Can I change my information mid-campaign?

Yes, you can edit your account at any time. 

 


4. My pictures are too big or too small when displayed. How do I fix this?

VotersManual.com does not manipulate your pictures in any way.  You will need to re-size your pictures using picture editing software.
(i.e. Microsoft Paint or Apple Core Image)
We've found the ideal sizes for pictures are:    Banner shape - 800 x 200 pixels   or    Portrait shape - 480 x 640 pixels   


5.  How long will my information be displayed?

Your page will be displayed from your "publish" date to at least 30 days after your specified election date


6. If a display contains information that I find offensive or incorrect, should I notify VotersManual.com?

If you wish to share your thoughts with us, you are always welcome to use the Contact Us form. However, the content of the displays is owned by and the sole responsibility of the Candidates, Issue Committees, or Third Party customers. With the exception of FCC guidelines for appropriate language, pictures and videos, we cannot censor their opinions in any way..

 


7. What criteria does VotersManual.com use when deciding the order of the candidate, issue and third party displays on the search results?

First, the electoral level is used to separate customers into Federal, State, District, County, Township, Municipality and Local School Board. Below the electoral level, the order is determined on a first come, first served basis. The earlier customers sign-up, the higher they are on the list.
