1. Why don't I always see candidates and issues that are on my actual ballot?

Your search result may just be a representation of candidates and issues that could appear on your ballot.
VotersManual.com is a portal for candidates and issue managers to publish information about themselves to help educate the
voting public about the platform they represent. Some candidates and issue committee members may not have elected to partner with us and therefore do not have information to display in your search. If you know of a candidate or issue that you feel would benefit from our services, please let them know by sending them an e-mail to check us out.

2. My county has multiple Congressional, State Senatorial, State Representative, or Judicial Districts. How do I know in which district I reside?

Your State Secretary website should provide District Maps and other election information for you to use. You may want to visit our State Fun Facts section and click on your State’s Website link. Find your State Secretary, then click on the voting/election area and look for District Maps to find the district in which you live.

3. Can I register to vote through VotersManual.com?

No. We provide the forms to aid you in the registration process. However, most states still require the voters' signatures to recognize a new or updated registration.

4. Can I apply online for an absentee ballot through VotersManual.com?

No. We provide the forms to aid you in requesting your absentee ballot. However, most states still require the voters’ signatures to mail an absentee ballot.
5. If a display contains information that I find offensive or incorrect, should I notify VotersManual.com?
If you wish to share your thoughts with us, you are always welcome to use the Contact Us form. However, the content of the displays is owned by and the sole responsibility of the candidates, issue committees, or third party customers. With the exception of FCC guidelines for appropriate language, pictures and videos, we cannot censor their opinions in any way. If you feel strongly in support or opposition to a display, you can publish your opinion through the Endorse/Oppose section of VotersManual.com.
6. Can I add to the "State Fun Facts" or "Glossary of Political Terms" sections if I find that some interesting data is not displayed?
Yes, we value your participation! Use the Contact Us form to send us the information. It will be reviewed by our Content Team and possibly added to the site.
7. Will my survey data be used in any fashion other than to gather opinion statistics?
No. We will not sell or use your data for purposes other than those described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Do I have to answer every question on your survey?
No, if there is a question that you do not wish to answer, simply leave it blank
